Darren Gorrel has spent almost two decades recruiting top-class professionals for property developers and now brings that experience to DBG Talent, his own specialist agency.

Based in Sydney, he has built long-term relationships with clients and candidates across the development industry, from boutique residential firms to large-scale mixed-use, commercial and industrial operators.

Darren is renowned for his high level of persistence and follow-through, keeping everyone in the loop – even when there’s no update to share. He doesn’t overpromise or oversell and is not afraid to have tough conversations when it helps people achieve better outcomes.

Outside of work, Darren enjoys spending his time with his wife and two kids. He’s a sports enthusiast and an ardent supporter of the Cronulla Sharks. His daily early morning training not only helps him keep fit but also prepares him mentally for the day ahead.
